Belle Plaine Monitoring Station
GPAZ collects credible, continuous real-time air quality information through the collaborative efforts of industry, government, non-government and stakeholder representatives. Air quality data is freely available to all stakeholders. The information is used to help manage and drive improvements of air quality in the airshed. GPAZ collects air quality data in three locations: Regina, on the east side of the city; Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan; and Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
Air monitoring data is currently being conducted in the City of Regina through a co-operative federal / provincial program that monitors air quality in most major cities in Canada. Learn more about this program here.
This data is used to provide information about air quality on the local Environment Canada weather website.
